Person Under Surveilance (PUS)



This is a step that can be taken when undergoing PUS procedure:


  • Make sure that you are able to be contacted anytime.

  • Always be at home during the surveilance and observation period. It is recommended to be in a room with a toilet that is separated from others.

  • Limit the number of visitor to the house.

  • List the people that have comes to your house.

  • Always practice the proper way of coughing and sneezing.

  • If there is any symptoms, always wear a facemask. Otherwise, close your mouth and nose properly using a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Throw away the tissue that have been used into the dustbin and wash your hands with soap or hand sanitizer.



Detection on Close Contact



This is a step that can be taken to detect close contact:


  1. Positive cases are notified to the District Health Office.

  2. District Health Office will get the history of movement in details.

  3. Detection on close contact through movement history:

    • Visited places.

    • People seen.
